Usually residential roofs only leak in one or two areas after a storm. Sometimes, on the other hand, after a large wind event like a derecho or a tornado you can have multiple roof leaks spread out all across the roof. In these circumstances a shrink wrap is a much better option than blue tarps simply due to the fact that shrink wrap can cover the entire roof and make sure to stop all of the leaks!
